Cities get their heartbeat from local businesses, the cafés, studios, shops, and service providers that bring personality, care, and connection into everyday life. Yet without the right tools, those stories often get lost in the noise of modern marketing.

I started Mendiola Creative to build a different kind of creative agency. One that prioritizes quality over quantity, intention over trends, and people over performance metrics. We work with a limited number of clients at a time so every business receives thoughtful, high touch support. Our goal is to provide a true white-glove experience where your business is never just another account, but the focus.

Marketing always felt dry and disconnected to me until I realized it didn’t have to be. When you strip away the trends, the algorithms, and the constant pressure to “keep up,” what’s left is the heart of a business: its people and the clients it serves. That’s where our work begins. The name Mendiola comes from the Basque region of Spain meaning “mountain” or “hill” — a symbol of stability, perspective, and elevation. That meaning is woven into everything we do. We aim to be a grounded, steady presence for our clients, helping them gain clarity, rise above the noise, and grow with intention.

I’m especially inspired by beautiful spaces and the businesses behind them, places built with care, creativity, and purpose. Supporting small businesses allows me to share those spaces with the audiences who will truly value them, while helping owners feel confident, supported, and empowered along the way.
